Our Performance

Our Performance and Commitment to Excellence

At St George’s, we are incredibly proud of the progress our pupils make and the strong foundations they build for their future. Our academic outcomes reflect the hard work and enthusiasm of our children, the dedication and expertise of our staff and the close working partnerships we have with our families.  Everyone involved shares a commitment to ensuring each child flourishes.

Our most recent Key Stage 2 outcomes show that 68% of pupils achieved the expected combined standard in reading, writing and mathematics. Individual subject outcomes were particularly strong, including 81% of pupils achieving expected standards in reading and 79% in maths. These outcomes reflect not only pupils’ attainment at the end of year 6, but the consistent progress they make throughout their journey at St George’s, supported by high-quality teaching and carefully planned learning.

We recognise the importance of continually building on our strengths. Our School Development Plan provides a clear and structured pathway for ongoing improvement, with ambitious goals for all cohorts.  This reflects our belief in every child’s potential and our determination to provide the very best opportunities for them to succeed.

While national data provides an important benchmark, it reflects only part of our story. We are proud of the confident, capable and compassionate young people who leave St George’s, and remain deeply committed to ensuring every pupil achieves strong academic outcomes within a nurturing and aspirational environment.
